BCG Heads to ESSENCE Fest to host Sunday Soul Pop-Up Restaurant for People Experiencing Homelessness with Chrisette Michele and Raheem DeVaughn!

Created by the Chief Change Maker of Black Celebrity Giving (BCG), Jasmine Crowe, in 2013. The idea for Sunday Soul was to provide men, women and children experiencing homelessness with a hot, home-cooked meal complete with amazing volunteers and classic old school music. Two years later, we have introduced the Sunday Soul Pop-Up Restaurant to provide a 5-course meal, restaurant style for the homeless and we invite you to join us on this journey. This Sunday, July 3rd, we take this amazing initiative on the road to New Orleans, LA where we’ll serve 150 people experiencing homelessness! We’ll be joined by two special guests, our “Celebrity Servers” Chrisette Michele and Raheem DeVaughn.

Together we will serve a 5 course meal complete with music from Hip Hop Gives Back, a grooming lounge sponsored by Creme of Nature and more.
