I Care Atlanta Provides Truck Loads of Food to Those In Need This Holiday Season!

When thinking of things and people I’m grateful for in 2013, I Care Atlanta is at the top of my list. Our partnership began in the fall and I am amazed at all the good we’ve been able to do this year. From hosting our bi-weekly Sunday Soul Atlanta event in which I’m proud to say has fed well over 1,000 people in less than three months. We’ve also helped families in need with turkeys and food for Thanksgiving as well as toys for the holidays. None of this would have ever been possible without the generosity of one man who was once homeless himself, Mr. Anthony Delgado! I couldn’t let 2013 go by without sending this many my heartfelt thanks for believing in me and what we do here at BlackCelebrityGiving.com. If you follow my blog you know I never, ever do this, but as the year ends and you are looking to give some to a needy cause (especially if you live in Atlanta), please consider I Care Atlanta as they work to end homelessness and stabilize lives throughout the surrounding counties in and around Atlanta.  The organization is always seeking volunteers too so consider them in your 2014 volunteering plans!

Check out our latest effort as we teamed up to provide food to single parent families selected by Kandi Burruss’s nonprofit organization Kandi Cares. I Care Atlanta also donated a van full of toys for the cause too, the event was held at My Fair Sweets!
