Steve Harvey to Host National Mentoring Camp for Boys in Dallas this June; Apply Now!

Award-winning entertainer Steve Harvey hosted 100 young men at Steve Harvey Mentoring Program for Young Men National Camp in Dallas this year!

It’s that time of the year again, media mogul Steve Harvey is set to hist his National Mentoring Camp for boys from single female homes June 9th – 14th – now it’s time to apply.  The goal of “The Steve Harvey Mentoring Weekend for Young Men” is to break the misguided traits of manhood and create a generation of men who are emotionally, socially and economically strong. The mentoring camps are interactive programs whose sole purpose is to share and teach the principles of manhood and dream building to young men. The program helps young men realize their potential and envision a future where they are physically and emotionally equipped, responsible and productive men. Hosted by Steve Harvey, this program includes a host of workshops that focus on personal responsibility, dream building, and the importance of nutrition and physical fitness. In addition, the participants are introduced to positive male role models who are leaders in various areas, including business, their communities, entertainment and the military.

Since 2009 thousands of applications have been received for consideration and hundreds of young men from single female-headed households have participated in the Steve Harvey Mentoring Weekend for Young Men.

If you are a young man:
Between the ages of 13-18
Enrolled in grades 8th – 11th at the time of submission
Being raised in a single female home.

The Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation invites you to the Steve Harvey National Mentoring Camp in Dallas, June 9-14, 2015 where Steve Harvey and men volunteering their time to be mentors will conduct a series of seminars on the principles of manhood, leadership and community empowerment.

Not only will the foundation and it’s incredible team of volunteers pour into the lives of the young men, there will also be a Parent Program that the parent/guardian of the mentees will participate in during the camp.

    thank you and your wife for being an inspiration to young men.  My husband  and I spent 35 years in a family business with the mission of setting a positive image for the lives that we touched seven days a week. So my pride and love for you and your wife is from the understanding that the need exist and I am glad you and your family have made the choice and commitment establish your mentoring program.
