Tashieka Truitt’s Donate Love Encourages, Empowers, and Enables Future Leaders!

I was in Germany four years ago and I met a Syrian gentleman that spoke very little English and I spoke very little to no German, but he said “good hearts meet in good places”.

Tashieka Truitt and I met at Chanita Foster’s charity concert and Park Tavern a few weeks ago. The event featured Corey Moore, Q, (Day 26) Q Parker, and a awesome new artist that Jazzy Phae featured. As we sat got to talking, my good friend Dave said Manny (his heavy Mississippi accent) “did you know Tashieka has her own non profit”? I wasn’t surprised because her spirit was very calming and positive. How could it be anything positive as the founder of Donate Love?

The Benjamin E. Mays high school graduate took her talents to North Carolina A & T State University where she received a Bachelors of Science in Marketing. She is also a board member of Rehabilitation Ranch for youth and  Just for Girls Mentoring.

Donate Love Foundation, Inc. is an avenue to giving–donating something real, something powerful, something timeless, donating something called love!

Donate Love Foundation, Inc.  is a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)3 of the internal revenue code.

DLF inspires youth through service, education, and memorable experiences which teach the “live to give” concept by uplifting families, communities, and others in need. We provide opportunities for elementary, middle, and high school youth to give back to their communities through quarterly service projects.

A minimum of four service projects are organized for children ages 10-17 to participate. Service projects are held on a Saturday morning for a minimum of 2hrs. By children getting involved DLF will work to promote service, responsibility, strong interpersonal skills, and character development. By getting involved at a young age, you will realize the value of social responsibility while maturing into successful, prosperous adults.

The mission of the foundation is to encourage, empower, and enable future leaders.

We will be viewed as a service based organization man powered by the youth. We will drive amazing results by impacting our local community and others in need. We will set the standard for community service against which others are measured.
