Atlanta Housewives Give Back with Wish Upon A Hero!

In Atlanta, on Sunday, April 29 2012  ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ stars  Phaedra Parks and Sheree Whitfield were on hand to grant three wishes:Help with chemotherapy treatments for a three-year-old with leukemia; provide sensory equipment for a three-year-old child with autism; and help a recent high school graduate with disabilities get ready for his first job.

The Wish Upon a Hero Foundation (WUAHF), the 501(c)3 non-profit  grants the wishes of Americans in need, and provides assistance with: basic needs, living needs, healthcare needs, pet needs, service needs, and educational needs. In addition to everyday heroes throughout the country, WUAHF is supported by numerous celebrity ‘heroes’ such as LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian, Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed and Scarlett Johansson.

The two ladies joined the ‘Make a Wish Upon a Hero Foundation’ at their “Be A Hero” event in Atlanta at Urban Fitness. Phaedra provided the family of a little girl, Addison, who is suffering from leukemia, with a check for $1,000 to help with gas for their trips to and from the hospital. Sheree provided a $250 check for Brianna, a girl suffering from autism, so she could get safe toys for her to play with.
