Behind The Bench to Host 21st Annual Touching A Life Gala NBA All Star Weekend in New York!

We are so excited to announce that BCG is the Official Media Partner for the NBA Cares Media Lounge at this year’s  Behind The Bench, The National Basketball Wives Association 21st Annual Touching A Life Gala! If you will be in the New York area for the NBA All Star Weekend this is a must attend event. Join us and Behind The Bench, The National Basketball Wives Association for a spectacular red carpet evening that will feature a Black Tie Dinner, VIP Reception, Designer Handbag Auction in the BioTE Medical Pavilion, a Celebrity Fashion Show and distinguished Touching A Life honorees, including: Peggy and NBA Great KiKi VanDeWeghe , Amber and CC Sabthia , Dr. Jackque Markes among other notable philanthropists. Proceeds from this year’s NBA All Star Gala will benefit American Cancer Society. This year’s fundraiser is in tribute to an 11 year old young man, Kyle Markes, who lost his battle to leukemia and the event carries forth the work started by the Oklahoma City Thunder. A notable player who’s name we will keep secret for now will present the “Heart of Courage” award to Kyle’s family, while Dikembe Mutombo will present the Stuart Scott Inspiration Award.

Behind the Bench, The National Basketball Wives Association welcomes hundreds of prominent philanthropists and community influencers to the Touching A Life Gala in support of the American Cancer Society. The celebrity  fashion show features NBA Superstars Carlos Boozer, Jack McClinton, Dorrell Weight and  many others! This privately-hosted, star-studded event is the “must-attend” fundraising  event of the NBA All-Star Weekend. Style, beauty and celebrity unite to support a great  cause.
