The mission of Dreams Expounded Inc. is to assist youth in Leighton, AL with expounding their academic and personal dreams while providing them with the intangible resources to do so.
With an incredible goal, the impetus behind the organization is a vision that all students of Leighton, Alabama are exposed to activities and opportunities that will create a desire to achieve beyond expectations. In addition, it is our goal that students will be better equipped for successful transition into post-secondary education and understand that goal attainment is possible through hard work and perseverance.
Dreams Expounded Inc. believes that every student deserves the right to pursue his or her dreams.
The past 3 years Dreams Expounded Inc. has been providing 2 student-athletes from Colbert County High School a $500 scholarship for higher education. Next school year Dreams Expounded Inc. plans to increase our efforts and purchase books for roughly 1,200 students in Leighton, AL from both Hatton and Leighton Elementary and Colbert County High School.
Project D.R.E.A.M.S. is an outline for areas that Dreams Expounded Inc. wants to highlight to the students of Leighton, AL in the future.
