Helping Other People be Empowered (H.O.P.E., Inc.) is a non for profit that focuses on helping single parents finish their education by providing rent and childcare assistance.

Mission
H.O.P.E, Inc’s mission is to serve low-income single parents working to obtain a college degree by providing assistance in subsidized housing, child care assistance, social services, and life skills.
Overview
The organization will assist single-parents by providing them with subsidized housing vouchers (not exceeding $400 a month) and child care vouchers (not exceeding $100 a week) while they are attending school. (For each year enrolled in school, up to four years). The vouchers will be directly paid to the apartment leasing offices and direct child care providers on behalf of the program participants. The organization’s activities will be carried by volunteers and the directors of the board. H.O.P.E, Inc will provide seminars and educational documents on social services (how to obtain food stamps, Medicaid, and child care assistance outside of the organization if applies) and life skills (financial budgeting, job related trainings, and spiritual edification classes) to assist in empowering the individual. We will utilize volunteers that have expertise in these areas, local churches, and community resource centers to hosts our seminars.
