Charity Spotlight: Project Hygiene, Inc. Promoting Health and Wellness, While Fighting Bullying!

Project Hygeine

Meet today’s charity spotlight Project Hygiene , a nonprofit organization established to support underprivileged youth by promoting health and wellness while denouncing bullying. Imagine the child bullied because of the lack of soap or deodorant, truth is this happens everyday and it’s never the fault of the child.

ProjectH_NoBGwebEstablished in 2011, Project Hygiene’s vision is  to uplift, empower and create a safe & healthy environment for our youth. Project Hygiene’s goal is to give back to underprivileged youth and their families, by supporting programs that foster personal growth and wellness throughout the USA. It is our focus to implement toiletry drives, concerts and bullying prevention programs.

The statistics surrounding bullying are not only saddening, truthfully they are a bit shocking. According to the National Education Association, it is estimated that 160,000 children miss school every day due to fear of attack or intimidation by other students. Bullies may use bad personal hygiene as a way of abusing their victims, using social embarrassment as a weapon.
