Mission
The mission of Teens: What’s The Rush, Inc. is to prevent and significantly reduce the incidents of teenage pregnancy, sexual transmitted diseases, teen sexual violence, peer pressures and teen suicides. Our goal is to increase self-worth, self-love, graduation rates, social skills and provide knowledge, awareness on the consequences of choices through the delivery of no judgment conversations that are 1) delivered in a language that adolescents and teens understand, 2) focused on solutions for all children especially the underserved and at-risk community members; and 3) establishment of a network of support groups, out reach resources, helpful information and instructions for children and their families.

Each year Teens: What’s The Rush, Inc. holds forums dedicated to Teenage Abstinence. Teenagers who may be curious about sex, may have experienced sex in some form and need to be educated on why they should wait to have sex until they are old enough to understand and make intelligent decisions. The organization also seeks to educate teens about pregnancy, drop out rates, rape and diseases.

With Teens: Whats the Rush, we will not judge our teenagers, rather we will show them practical reasons, candid resources and open minded instructions to develop responsible young adults. After all, they are our future! Please stand with me and take the time to find out Whats The Rush….Our Teenagers need us!
