Founded in 2011, the Information Blanket is a for-profit social enterprise operating on the same philosophy as the famous Tom’s Shoes. For every one product sold, they give one blanket to a mother and baby in need. The goal is to introduce the blanket in several other high infant mortality areas around the world and establish partnerships that will help bring infant health information and empower mothers to create behavior changes.
