Charlie Mack Gathers a Bevy of Stars for 8th Annual Party 4Peace Weekend!

Since 2003 Charlie Mack’s Party 4 Peace weekend has been a staple in the Philadelphia community. Charlie Mack, whose full name is Charles Alston, has a long standing track record in the entertainment industry dating back to 1978. In addition to creating the “Charlie Mack Party 4 Peace Celebrity Weekend” in 2003, he has served as a road manager for DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, is credited with discovering platinum selling and Grammy winning group Boys II Men. This year Charlie Mack has partnered with the AmeriHealth Mercy Foundation and Keystone Mercy Health Plan Healthy Hoops Asthma Program. The mission of the AmeriHealth Mercy Foundation is to promote and advance health equity for all by conducting health promotion and prevention programs that address the prevalence of disease in vulnerable and under-served populations through Health education, advocacy and empowerment, preventive health care and or clinical screenings. The mission of The Charlie Mack Celebrity Weekend is to provide the Youth a weekend of events with emphasis on violence prevention, in collaboration with Keystone Mercy Health Plan, AmeriHealth Mercy Foundation and the Healthy Hoops Coalition will include health education programs and fitness challenges for the children, members of KMHP and the community. Celebrities set to attend include: Will and Jaden Smith, Terry and Rebecca Crews, Duane Martin, Tisha Campbell Martin, Faizon Love, Hill Harper, Kyla Pratt and many more.

Activities for the weekend are set to include: Charlie Mack’s “I WILL Be Great Leaders” Awards & Luncheon Ceremony featuring a Special Awards Presentation by Will and Jaden Smith to the Top Leaders of Tomorrow, a Youth Study Center, Healthy Hoops Asthma Clinic & Education, Celebrities Meet & Greet tour to Youth Asthma Clinic & Luncheon, Comedy Show, Global Fusion Festival, Fashion Show, White party and much more.
