Chat with Actress Edwina Findley on NAACP Connect Tonight!

The NAACP Connect staff invites you to participate in a live, interactive video chat with ACT-SO Alum & Actress Edwina Findley today! On the heels of her Sundance Film Festival feature film debut, Edwina joins us to give tips and advice for aspiring actors, artists and entrepreneurs. She’ll also talk about her work on HBO’s The Wire and Treme, and she’ll make her predictions for the 43 NAACP Image Awards.

Findley is a young, fresh and innovative talent who has appeared in various roles in theater, film and television. She is most known for portrayal of “Tosha” on HBO’s The Wire. Currently she co-stars in the hit series Treme on HBO. Edwina joins us after the Sundance Film Festival premiere of her latest movie Middle of Nowhere.  “Edwina is a true inspirational talent. She is an advocate for the arts, the NAACP and living your dream. We’re looking forward to this time with her” says Larry Brown, Jr. NAACPConnect Project Manager. The Live Chat will take place at www.NAACPConnect.org January 31 at 7pm ET/4pm PT. Participants can visit the NAACPConnect site to watch and interact via video, Facebook and Twitter with Edwina.
