Good Event Alert: Scalpel vs. Spatula Benefit for Surgeon’s Touch Foundation!

Atlanta Do-Gooders are invited to  join Surgeon’s Touch Foundation on Wednesday, June 14th for their celebrity chef event Scalpel vs. Spatula fundraiser sponsored by Lexus and Belaire champagne held at the Foundry at Puritan Mill at 6:30pm. Confirmed celebrity chefs to-date include Keisha Knight Pulliam, Angela Simmons, Lenny S. and the foundation founder Dr. Wright Jones with Monyetta Shaw and Egypt Sherrod serving as the host and music by Deejay Ohmz and Unkown Lyric.

All funds raised from the event will benefit disadvantaged youth with severe deformities due to life-changing trauma by providing complimentary reconstructive plastic surgery to match their inner and outer beauty.

Surgeon’s Touch Foundation is dedicated to empower and inspire disadvantaged youth with matching their inner and outer beauty through reconstructive plastic surgery for those with acquired and congenital abnormalities. Surgeon’s Touch Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created to assist the alarming healthcare disparities seen within the field of reconstructive plastic surgery.  Eligible low-income patients suffering from acquired and congenital abnormalities will receive reconstructive surgery from competent plastic surgeons and necessary healthcare professionals. Each operation is earned through effective community service projects developed by patients and two additional supporters. The foundation’s aim is to also ignite a spirit of giving and positivity within these often heavily burdened communities.
