Ladies love Idris Elba and here is something we can all love about him even more, he’s committed to world peace and has joined UNICEF along with other stars to share a powerful message. When it comes to John Lennon, one thing he was extremely passionate about was world peace. In his honor, UNICEF has just launched a brand-new campaign to help draw attention to the plight that children face around the world, just as John would have wanted.

The campaign is named #IMAGINE, which was John’s signature song that was released in 1971 in the UK. A plethora of celebrities (over 100) also loaned their singing voices to the campaign in a video that goes along to John’s famous song. Stars from Idris Elbad, Sanaa Lathan, Katy Perry, Nicole Scherzinger to Adam Lambert were all included in this A-List campaign video.

Along with this awesome video, the campaign also has a huge digital angle that is quite unique. Created by TouchCast, the new app allows users to record their personal version of #IMAGINE that has the chance of being used in a mashup version produced by David Guetta.

“I’m really excited to be working with UNICEF on this incredible new project,” Guetta said in a statement. “Our ‘world’ version of ‘Imagine’ will be like no other – I am proud to be a part of this collaboration. We have to get the word out that every voice counts and every child counts, too.”

The videos selected will also be mixed in with the other celebrities who have already sung along to the famous song. As UNICEF works in over 190 countries around the world, your participation in #IMAGINE will help push UNICEF’s programs forward.

To be a part of the digital app, make sure to search TouchCast in your App Store, or visit the #IMAGINE website! If singing really isn’t your thing, they also are encouraging participants to record video messages on what their vision is for a better world for children.
