Neo-soul singer and pianist John Legend’s first studio album released in 2004 reached the Top Five of the Billboard 200. This led to three Grammy Awards: Best R&B Album, Best R&B Male Vocal Performance, and Best New Artist. Once Again, which peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 and number one on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart followed in October 2006 and eventually went platinum. Legend’s most recent album, Wake Up!, was released in 2010 and is backed by the Roots. The album features covers of still-relevant, socially-aware songs like Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes’ Wake Up Everybody and Donny Hathaway’s Little Ghetto Boy.

Chef Todd English has been serving his internationally acclaimed interpretative Mediterranean cuisine at his Olives eateries since 1989. His first restaurant Olives in Charlestown, Massachusetts quickly drew national and international applause. In recent years, English has established Olives as one of the most prestigious names in the nation by opening locations in New York and Las Vegas. Big, bold flavors are always on the menu, and with an emphasis on the seasonality, the freshest ingredients are used to create sumptuous pastas, wood-fired flatbreads, fresh fish, succulent meats and decadent desserts, served alongside award-winning wine lists daily in warm, inviting dinner rooms that make the English dining experience unlike any other.
