The NOPD is searching for a 9-year-old boy reported missing from St. Roch. Jo Jo Anderson’s mother told police she last saw her son about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to a New Orleans Police Department news release.
Anderson was leaving his mother’s house in the 1400 block of Arts Street to board his school bus at North Claiborne Avenue and Music Street, police said. His mother told police that she became concerned when she was unable to contact him and has not seen or heard from him since.
Anderson is described as about 4 feet tall and about 110 pounds. He was last seen wearing his school uniform: a powder blue polo shirt, dark blue pants, a grey sweater and black-and-red tennis shoes.
Police ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jo Jo Anderson to call NOPD at 504.821.2222.
