Location Last Seen: The Nazareth Children’s Home on Crescent Road in Rockwell the morning of June 6th. She did not return home after classes.
Circumstances of Disappearance: Sequoyah Carpenter had been staying at the home and previously threatened to run away. The sheriff’s office said the teen has an aunt who reportedly lives in Lincoln County, and a grandmother in Rowan. But the grandmother said she hasn’t heard from the girl.
Last Seen Wearing: Sequoyah was last seen wearing a light blue American Eagle hoodie, a black jacket with fur, jeans and sandals. She was carrying a black backpack, but authorities said the teen had no identification or money and wasn’t known to a cell phone.
