NBA Veteran Josh Powell and the 21 Reasons to Give Foundation!

NBA Veteran Josh Powell established the 21 Reasons to Give Foundation in 2009 to proactively address the needs of youth in
communities from North Carolina to Georgia. Since it’s inception, the foundation has supported a variety of
community focused events and programs which include :
– Celebrity school and hospital visits
– Basketball clinics and camps (several U.S. cities)
– Toy drives
– Funded computer labs
– Sponsored and hosted children and families at professional sports games
– Supported Habitat for Humanity projects
– Partnered with other non-profit organizations
– Sponsored Dreamnight at Zoo Atlanta (private event for terminally ill children and their families)
July 27-29, 2012, will mark the fourth annual weekend however the first time the 21 Reasons to Give Foundation will host a weekend in Atlanta “Inspire Greatness and Resilience”, prior weekends have been in Raleigh, North Carolina where Josh attended college at North Carolina State University.

Josh believes, “What sets us apart is our dedication to really looking into each community we come into and seeing what their needs are.”
