Stand Up Man Up will host it’s 2nd Annual Turning Hoods Back Into Neighborhoods event on Saturday, August 18th from 11-4pm. The event will feature free food, a bounce house for kids, 50/50 raffle, performances by local entertainers, and a wealth of resources. The event aims to address the community on how to deal with and come together to help stop violence in local communities. The organization also aims to help the homeless community at the event. Stand Up Man Up is a Non-Profit Organization and all proceeds raised from the event will go to help beautify the local Toledo Ohio community, teach young people the skills they need to be successful, and outreach to help stop the violence. The goal of Stand Up Man Up is that people can come together for peace in our community and not a funeral from senseless violence. The event will be held at a local park on Oakwood and Detroit in Toledo, OH.
