Terrence J Grows Hair for The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation!

2012 has been a pretty amazing year for Actor/TV Personality Terrence J of BET’s 106 and Park. He stared in the hit film Think Like A Man and will star in the film Sparkle featuring the late Whitney Houston coming out later this summer. Among acting and hosting, Terrence has lent his celebrity to causes such as Disney Dreamers and Steve Harvey’s Mentoring Weekend where he himself has mentored young men from all over the country. Sounds to us like Terrence J can now add Philanthropist to his many titles. Terrence J believes in using his popularity to truly make a difference. It’s for this reason that he’s partnering with Magic Shave and will not be shaving for over a month! You can join Terrence as he “Shaves with a Purpose” and connect with him via Twitter @TerrenceJ and TheSource.com/MagicShave to raise money for a special charity. Magic Shave has been the leader in African American men’s shaving for over a century and is proud to be a partner in this initiative. For 6-weeks, Terrence J will grow out his beard for charity. For every post, comment or upload to TheSource.com proceeds will benefit The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation.

The mission of The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation is to ensure that the needs of the whole child are met through the development of programs and support of community-based organizations that foster excellence in the areas of health, education and social well-being within urban and ethnically diverse communities.
