The Fellaz Youth Foundation to Host Mentoring Weekend in Edgewater, Md.

The Fellaz Youth Foundation will be kicking off their inaugural Mentoring Weekend March 2-4, 2012 at Camp Letts in Edgewater, Md. The Fellaz Youth and willing volunteers will be welcoming a select group of young men age 13-17 years old, to join them in an empowering, uplifting, and fun packed weekend. There will be a range of events, from motivational and interactive panel discussions by local professionals, educators, and entrepreneurs to team building activities such as recreational sports and obstacle courses.

The purpose of The Fellaz Youth Foundation Mentoring Weekend is to Help Our Youth Achieve Success. They will introduce the Keys to Success, discuss Making Smart Cool, and they will identify the importance of following your dreams. They are strong believers that all journeys start with a dream!

“Everyday young men in our communities make a decision to give up, our mission is to prevent young men from giving up,” says Will Jackson President of The Fellaz Youth Foundation. “We want to provide them with the tools that will help them stay the course and continue the pathway to success.”

About The Fellaz Youth Foundation Mentoring Weekend
Established in 2011.The mentoring weekend is for young men is a 3 day/2night program designed to teach the Keys to Success, following your dreams, and to highlight the importance of education. 20 young men in grades 8th -11th, ranging from ages 13-17 years, from the DC, MD, and VA area will be selected to travel to Camp Letts in Edgewater, MD for the mentoring weekend.
