The Steve Harvey Mentoring Weekend for Young Men in Dallas, TX Now Accepting Applications!

Hosting The Steve Harvey Mentoring Weekend for Young Men since 2009, each year Steve Harvey welcomes 100 teenage boys and their guardians from around the country to his ranch in Dallas every Father’s Day Weekend.  Mentoring teenage boys who are without fathers, the program’s success has also continued expanding with Harvey leading regional satellite mentoring programs, hosting 100 boys in each city including New York, Atlanta, New Orleans and Los Angeles.  Hosting the Girls Who Rule the World Mentoring Weekends in October, since 2010 Marjorie Harvey has hosted 100 teenage girls in Atlanta each year.  This year’s Steve Harvey Mentoring Weekend for Young Men in Dallas over Father’s Day Weekend will take place June 14th -17th, with applications being accepted through April 6th.

Eligibility Requirements:

•   Between the ages of 13-18.
•   Enrolled in Grades 8-11 at the time of submission.
•   Being raised in a single female home.

    This is Yancey Sullivan’s Mother, an I signed him up for this. He wrote the paper and we were one of the ones chosen. Ms. Elish contacted us, an wanted my email so she could fax me the paper.   2. I would love to speak with the single kids myself  was bought up in a single parent home I just got released from federal prison I spent many years listening to Mr Steve I just want to share the message

  3. Wow !  I just  hope the young man (and his mom)  can make it another year and 1/2  til he’s thirteen.  They moved from Oregon to Fortworth about a year ago.  I don’t know what’s harder:  being a mom or a kid, these days.  May GOD bless you  in your effort  to help these kids.
