Tips on Eating Healthy and Losing Weight!

I wish I had baby pictures because as a child everyone thought I’d be a overweight but that didn’t pan out. I do keep a healthy diet with very clean food. I bought a steamer the other day and it takes a couple of minutes to steam your food and it tastes really good. This is your start to eating healthy!

You will compared to the quick weight loss supplements, and you’ll be spending less time in the gym because part of losing weight is dieting right. YOHOB not as cool as YOLO but you only have one body. Take care of it and feed it the good stuff. If you don’t feed yourself well then you probably won’t feel great. Grab a unused towel or mat for abs.

Buy Tupperware. Cook regularly, buy some peanuts or raisins to snack on during the day. Get a ziplock bag and use some of your favorite cereal as a snack and or fruits<<<<this curbs your appetite.

H20- Water helps flush our systems of waste products and toxins, yet many people go through life dehydrated—causing tiredness, low energy, and headaches. It’s common to mistake thirst for hunger, so staying well hydrated will also help you make healthier food choices. Our body’s made up of 80% of water, put it back in!

Buy a bottle from GMC ($6) and fill it with water and drink four or five cups of water from that a day. When you’re at the grocery store buy 100% cranberry juice

Exercise

Grab a friend to work out with!!!!!

Park benches serve as a great work out machine. You can do dips and push ups on the bench. Do lunges around the park, and start off at a moderate pace and do more as your body gets used to working out. Snack on fruit bags of cherrios opposed to chocolate bars. At work instead of driving to nearby restaurants, walk. Start using the stairs instead of the elevator. Park a little further at the grocery store and mall to walk. These are just some ideas and tips.

We have to live healthy. Enjoy time spent with your friends, family, and colleagues. Take a walk at least twice a week. Cigarettes are a NO NO. You need a balance in all facets including your personal life. If you work hard, play hard to reward your hard work. If anybody will reward you then, it will definitely be YOU.
Find something that you enjoy and spend your time doing that, travel if you can to see the world. Laugh, watch a comedy or go to a new restaurant. Try something new like jazz spots and poetry places or new music. The point is the world is big. Join a local group that shares your same interests, that’s what they’re for.
You’d be surprised by what they have to offer. I joined the Urban League’s Young Professionals in Atlanta and it’s changed my outlook on Atlanta and given me more to do. I’ve met people that I can call friend’s, we share similar interests and we do stuff that is aligned with our interests.
