Egypt Sherrod kicks off her 4th Annual Egypt’s Give Back Tour today collecting toys, clothing, baby items and toiletries. V-103, the Egypt Cares Family Foundation and CVS are joining forces to “Give Back” this holiday season! Since becoming V-103’s midday host in March of 2012, Egypt Sherrod has proven herself to be more than just another voice on the radio. Also the face of HGTV’s “Property Virgins,”Egypt masterfully balances work, family and life, and manages to spearhead impactful fundraisers for those in need. Now, in the thick of the holiday season, she continues her mission to create and support community efforts.
Created in 2010 as the inaugural activity of the Egypt Cares Family Foundation, Egypt’s Give Back Tour has made its home in Atlanta for the last two years and has become one of the most important charitable efforts in the city during Christmastime. This year, the cause will benefit The Atlanta Children’s Shelter, The Cascade House and The Covenant House. Sponsored by CVS/pharmacy, CBS Radio’s V-103 Atlanta, The Egypt Cares Family Foundation, I For Talent Management and SJ Oglesby PR, the tour will broadcast LIVE on The People’s Station, V-103, December 9 – 13, 2013, from 10AM – 2PM each day at the following locations:
