Recently, World Wide Women Group, a non-profit organization sponsored a Survivor’s Birthday Celebration titled Beauty Beyond Measure. The program under World Wide Women Group, took the lead in making sure that survivors received the red carpet treatment. What made this event different from all other’s is that it brought together heart disease survivors, cancer survivors, MS survivors, rape survivors, domestic violence survivors, and so many more.
The evening was filled with games, survival stories, songs, dance, and poetic expressions. Ten Survivors were honored with a standing ovation, gifts, and a walk down the red carpet. There was also a surprise for Beauty Beyond Measures, director Cheryl A. Davis who was honored with a Survivor’s sash, flowers, and a cake with the number one to commemorate the first Survivor’s Birthday Celebration. Everyone then joined together to sing happy birthday to the Survivors! We love to celebrate giving, kudos to the World Wide Women Group.
