A LEGACY Left Behind, Inc. Seeks Students for Summer Mentoring Program

Recruiting Participants and Volunteers

A LEGACY Left Behind, Inc. is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit that provides grief support and mentoring services to young ladies in the DC Metro Area who have experienced the death of a parent or sibling. We are now accepting female students into our mentoring program which will resume in September. The participants are allowed to stay in the program until they graduate from high school and all of our services are free.

Here are the requirements for a student to participate. (1). She must be a child who have endured the loss of a biological parent or sibling. (2). She must be enrolled in school and is currently in the sixth through twelfth grade. (3).She must submit a participant form with a copy of her most recent report card.

Please note that under certain conditions, we will allow students who have experienced the death of a caregiver or grandparent to enroll into our grief support and mentoring program if a space is available.
