SpeakEnglish5 to host SpeakEnglish5 Synergy Conference/Business Expo in Washington, DC.

On October 23-24, 2015, SpeakEnglish5 will host the SpeakEnglish5 Synergy Conference/Business Expo in Washington, DC. This event, theme “Finding Your Passion & Purpose”, will feature businesses/nonprofits owned by women inside professional sports. Morgan Stanley, our partner, has assisted with developing an impressive agenda that will include presentations, breakout sessions, speed networking, and a panel discussion that will provide expert direction in business. The panelists, women inside professional sports, will share compelling stories and advise strategies for overcoming challenges faced by women with our unique lifestyles. SpeakEnglish5 has also partnered with KINfolk to broaden our reach in order to serve more needy families. Synergy Conference/Business Expo participants will include women from the NBA, NFL, MLB, WNBA, and NHL. The event will attract many businesses and professional women from the DC area, across the country and overseas.

The weekend will kick off with community service benefiting N Street Village in Washington, DC at which time we will prepare and serve lunch to 85 homeless women and provide free mammograms. The evening of October 23rd will conclude with an exclusive VIP reception hosted by Charrisse Jordan and Marcia Dyson. Guests will be entertained by the musical genius, Thaddaeus Tribbett. A delicious selection of hors d’oeuvres will be provided by DC’s finest restaurants and delightful desserts by Give Me Some Sugar to name just a few of the conference highlights.
