Charity Spotlghts are back , sorry they have been missing in action for a few months, we just got overwhelmed with requests and had to restructure our process. Now we’re back at it, so stay tuned as we have a slew of organizations doing amazing work across the world and we can’t wait to share them with you!

Let’s get right to it, today meet our charity spotlight D.E.B.S. Foundation, which stands for “Defying Every Boundary Scholastically” was founded in July 2013. The leader in charge is just  21 years old, a University of Central Florida Senior Legal Studies and s Sport Business Management minor student D’Bria Bradshaw. The central focus of D.E.B.S. Foundation is to provide financial assistance to high school & college students who defying every boundary scholastically through academic excellence, extra curricular involvement, and service . While still in it’s infancy stages, the organization  has hosted several events that positively impact the community including a Back to School Supply a Drive at Beacon Hill Preparatory School in Miami, Fl and a current  Thanksgiving Food Drive for Camillus House in Miami, Fl. Additionally they have planned a  Holiday Toy Drive for the children of New Image Youth Center in Orlando, FL. During their inaugural year D.E.B.S. plans to give away five scholarships to each of the following groups: Monsignor Edward Pace High School in Miami, Fl, National Achievers Society: South Florida Center of Excellence Chapter , John T. Washington Honor Society at University of Central Florida, Sport Business Club at University of Central Florida and  the United Negro College Fund.

Guided by the belief that the sky is NOT the limit it is just the view the mission of the D.E.B.S Foundation is to provide financial assistance to deserving students who wish to continue their education in institutions of higher learning.  Their goal is to reward students who are “Defying Every Boundary Scholastically” through their academic achievements, participation in extracurricular activities, and their dedication to give back to their communities and to DREAM BIG.
