{Throwback Thursday} Charity Spotlight: DC Diaper Bank

The DC Diaper Bank provides a reliable and adequate supply of free diapers to families in need who are living in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. In order to fulfill its mission, the DC Diaper Bank raises awareness about the need for diapers as a basic necessity. The organization also collects diapers through community events and fundraisers and distributes them to families in need through a network of social service agencies.

The vision that the DC Diaper Bank holds for itself is to create a large community in which families can have all they need to thrive. Giving diapers may seem like a small task, but for a baby and a family who do not have access to a clean supply of diapers, this “small” task becomes life-changing.
