Girls Inspired and Ready to Lead (GIRL)

Mission:
Girls Inspired and Ready to Lead (GIRL) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to mentor and empower teen girls to excel in academics, develop leadership skills, engage in community service, develop a positive self–image, and live a healthy lifestyle.

Core Values:
Education- help girls to complete high school, plan for a career, navigate the college planning process, gain admission to institutions of higher education, and acquire financial aid.
Leadership– teach girls essential skills needed to become strong leaders in their schools and communities and to engage in community service.
Self–Image – encourage girls to have a positive self-image reflected in the way they dress, behave, and communicate.
Health and Fitness – inform girls on how to live a healthy lifestyle, such as avoiding STDs and drugs, practicing nutritious eating habits, and engaging in physical fitness activity.
Mentoring – provide girls with positive role models to support their development and to inspire them to achieve their dreams.
