HITS, Inc. is dedicated to improving the lives of inner city youth through exposure to avenues that they may not normally have access to. HITS hosts events such as The Red Door to encourage more young professionals and entrepreneurs to provide service and support to the communities in which they live. Since 2007, HITS has been providing at-risk youth with opportunities to succeed in life. HITS exposes youth to better life opportunities through college tours, 1-on-1 mentoring, juvenile justice programs and community service programs.

“Many of our youth aren’t given a fair chance to succeed. With failing school systems, tough streets, predatory law enforcement policies and consistent negative media images – the odds are stacked against them, said Richard Lecky, co-founder and Executive Director for HITS, Inc. “At HITS we recognize the potential of these youth. Our goal is to help inner city youth beat the odds by exposing them to opportunity and pushing them to reach their potential.”

HITS is committed to increasing opportunities for at-risk youth; providing local leaders, celebrities and young professionals with opportunities to give back to youth in their communities; producing positive media images and public service announcements to uplift youth; and creating educational enrichment programs and forums for inner-city youth.
