Helping Nonprofits Thrive with the New ASUS T300 Chi!

I must admit I have wanted a tablet and laptop in one for a long time, if only for the savings I thought, or the weight maybe, but I knew I needed one. Whether as a laptop or tablet, the ASUS T300 Chi is one of slimmest devices available so I thought, I’m in luck here. When I first opened the box, I was blown away by it’s sleekness, but even more excited to have a touch screen and keyboard, sometimes a girl just needs two options. The screen almost looked like I could touch it and dip inside the screen with it’s 4x HD resolution I set out for my day with my new In preparation for the kick off of The Thrive Tour kicking off in just two and half weeks in Atlanta I must say my meetings and prep work has been nonstop. The ASUS Transformer Book T300 Chi is the perfect all-around 2-in-1 device and here’s way.

As a Change Maker always be ready to show the world just how you are making change. Sometimes your phone is just perfect, but others the view needs to match the big picture. The fact that the T300 Chi not only detached to become a tablet in seconds, you can reattach it for quick updates, flip it to show your story how you please and what I love best, prop it up like a tent and guide your potential donor or partner along the way. The-aluminum exterior, a strong magnetic hinge, a vibrant display with incredible viewing angles and premium stereo sound make it a win-win-win!

Case in point my meeting with Atlanta Shelter City of Refuge in prep for our Heels and Hope Empowerment event for homeless women. I made the perfect sponsor slideshow and if you know me I love my music – when I added my song (W.A.Y.S. by Jhene’ Aiko) the sound system took me by surprise, it’s no joke. While meeting with the A/V tech and learning how to use the projection screens and link my slideshows, it was an effortless to link via Bluetooth and show the shelter staff a sneak peak at all the amazing partners who include: ORS, Radio One Atlanta, Cakes by Tatyana, FAB Mobile, Fame Mob, INSO Hair School, Lovingly Make-Up and more – plus I could tell they loved the music too!

Next meeting, my T300 Chi in my purse I floated with ease, and with 10 hours of battery feeling like a winner!

Back to why my fellow Change Makers can use this beauty. Don’t be fooled by its small size we can all use this to do great work. It’s better than just jotting down that great fundraiser idea or notes on who to email and call, it allows you to work to spark your creativity wherever and whenever inspiration strikes, and let’s be honest aren’t we always thinking about ways to change the world :-)! whether that’s on the metro on the way home, or while you’re on your summer road trip. It’s fanless,  has an Intel processor, with blazing speed and outstanding energy efficiency- which I know all my Go- Green ChangeMakers love, so we can be confident that even though your computer is compact, it’s a powerhouse.

I set-up the ThriveTour.com site via Splashthat, I really saw a difference with the T300 I could simply drag photos over, make quick changes and uploads, it’s exciting. I can’t wait for our round table sessions, where I’ll present my “Making the Ask” presentation on my Chi.

Don’t just take my amazing recommendation for it, truly check it out it’s affordable, durable and here to help us Go, Play, Work and Create ways to change the world.
