The Los Angeles Mission is seeking volunteers for the “End of Summer Block Party 2012” on Saturday, August 25th. At the event, the organization will hand out backpacks and school supplies to the needy children of Skid Row. The Twitter hashtag for the event is #SkidRowKids.
