In the past month, the water crisis in Flint, Michigan, has escalated from a local controversy into a federal state of emergency declared by President Barack Obama  himself, who allocated $80 million to the city.  Residents are dying because of govermental negligence, lead poisoning and what’s even worse is that residents are still being billed for this water, shame. Thousands of people are feared to have suffered permanent brain damage, and at last count 10 residents have died from Legionnaire’s disease,  linked to the lead-contaminated water.

Some of the biggest donations have come from our community and we couldn’t be prouder. Here’s our list of 10 Celebs Giving Back for the cause!

How You Can Join Them:
We are loving all of the collection drives being hosted across the county, this is proof that when we come together things do get done. What’s the saddest is that there is still much more work to done. All the bottled water in the world won’t fix those pipes. Continue to be vocal and make sure that someone is held accountable.
