Marshall Faulk and Jermaine Dupri, among other superstars, were all on hand to help rapper and fashion mogul Nelly hosts his 6th Annual Black and White Ball last Sunday night at Chase Park Plaza in St. Louis, MO.
For the past six years hip hop superstar Nelly has held one of St.Louis’s most talked about and anticipated events of the year, the Black and White Ball. Guests and performers included: Marshall Faulk, Jermaine Dupri, Murphy Lee, Ali Jones with a special performance by Johnny Gill. Hot Chocolate Soul Band returned as the house band for the evening as well as theatrical live entertainment.
Nelly and Lindenwood University announced the launch of the 2012-2013 Black and White Ball Scholarship Program, which gives two area students a full, four-year ride at Lindenwood.
“The whole vision behind the ball,” says Nelly, “is it’s a celebration of St. Louis. It’s a nice evening of the who’s who in St. Louis. And I’m excited about the fact we have the scholarships with Lindenwood University.”
